These are my two new foster girlies, looking for a new home. Hattie and Hermione. Problem is they are identical. rolleyes I haven't got a clue which is which. :red I have tried, but they really are identical. I thought one had more hairy ears, but no. How can I track accurate progress? One weighs 557g and one weighs 595g? I suppose if they both keep putting weight on, I shouldn't worry. Any tips? please other than a permanent marker! :)
Thanks.

They are gorgeous and I love their names. Before I'd even got down to the end of your post where you suggested a permanent marker, that was what I was going to say. Some little identifier on the inside of one ear, but then you'd have to remember which one you'd marked! Sorry, I can't think of any other suggestion. Even their ears are the same, aren't they.

I was only joking about the permanent marker, but I think you may have a point. Maybe a nice pink one? he he. They are lovely names, yes, but no good if you don't actually know who is who! lol xx

Doesn't the one of the left have like a jagged section in her ear, if I can see right in the picture?

Bloomin 'eck Wales you're right. :) In fact there is a little nibble out of each ear. Well done, so that can be Hattie. Need to get me specs changed. x

I was like this with Chandler and Joey I could not tell them apart except for the fact that Joey had thicker fur on his head! :(|)

They are stunning, one does have a fatter face than the other but that may just be the camera angle! x)

What about looking at the underneath of their feet or tummies, do they have anything noticeably different? Are their feet and claws the same? Do they have the same character, same squeak? Does one prefer certain veg to another?

Crikey I've only had them a day, not sure about characters, squeaks and veg yet. :(|) Did check their feet though. Thanks. x

Well spotted, I didn't notice that. Now you must just remember it's "Hattie with the ratty" ears. (in this case ratty = nibbled, just trying to do some rhyming slang so you'll remember)

So what rhymes with Hermione :{ xx

Oh come on, that's too much. Don't laugh at this, but when I first came across the name Hermione, it was in writing, and I hadn't heard it pronounced ........ ummm ...... I thought you said it like Hermy One. Well, I didn't know!

They are beautiful! x) Hattie also looks like her face is slightly slimmer than Hermione's - although don't say that out loud! We don't want to give her a complex!!

They are adorable! How can someone not want them??

I Know when I first saw it written years ago I thought it was hermyowny :red.

Hermione - and not yoursy mallethead ?

I know these two gorgeous girls - I do think one is slightly bigger than the other to look at them, one is slightly braver too! I hope they find their perfect forever home soon x>>

well, the piggie on the left also has a rougher coat!

Thanks. She doesn't in real life though. :) I think as they get older, cos they're still very small, things like rougher/smoother coats, hair length may distinguish them. Hopefully I won't have them that long though. They're so sweet, and both quite adventurous. rolleyes
