Wiggy and Scooby get them all the time. They usually grow back but it is painless for the piggie if you keep it short and trim however if you leave it to get big, it could get infected.
I used to get there Spurs trimmed at the Vet's but now I do it myself - I learnt from the vet. You just use piggy nail clippers and clip it off and it's painless but you have to be careful not to get too close to the skin.

Spurs are they little hard bumps on the feet by the toes? about two weeks before rudi passed away i took him to the vet with a little bump like that it looked a little like a wart would on us and he didn't know what it was he gave him anti-inflamitares is it just me or is my vet a little uneducated because he is always gettin things wrong! I'm really worried about taking Zubin to be neutered with him now! My rabbits have Spurs on there teeth Bobbin passed them on to all 6 of her babies!
