stella & home made shephards pie = happy pigs!

i am finally working out how to up load photos to photobucket from my phone. so i thought i would share some pictures from this afternoon.

Steve and i have a friend who is a carpenter. we supplied the beer and my homemade shephards pie and the wood and he made me new guinea pig huts! ambrosia and pickle couldn't get in the hut together, so we had to fix this and at the same time make a new hut for the boys teddy and muffin

the pigs were having playtime while all this happened.

the boys were on the floor and the girls were on the sofa

pickle was hiding behind the pink cushion.

it still amazes me at how much my boys poop!

pickle is hiding in her new hut! as she is blind now she tends to spend most of her time wanting to hide in a safe place. so here is a pic of my gorgeous pickle who turned 4 in august

no one has been on the ramps yet. i have put corn on the cob at the top to bribe them, but i think i will be waiting a while to see it dissapear!

they do seem to be having fun chewing the ramps though!

they seem so much happier now already! it has made them have more space in the cages

i can report that although there was enough shephards pie to last two days it has all gone and the pan is now in soak.

it is hungry work making piggy huts, but at least i know my cooking is okay!

Quick update. Brosie went up the ramp yesterday for the first time. I think she couldnt resist the curly parsley!
I dont think my pigs like ramps!

Brilliant news. It can take time, try putting a trail of fav food along the ramps.
