I went to collect him at 9 am this morning, how sad!:))

He was described as 'stressful', 'not used to being handled'. However, once sat on Maxy's chest, he tugged at the lettuce he was hand-fed and didn't move...

He is now in a rather smallish box, but has been eating like a monster! I don't think he's had any greens for however long he was at the store, so we gave him a portion like we would the other boys but decided not to give in the imploring looks for more cos we thought he may get the runs...mallethead

So here is Mr beautiful... (currently munching the vetbed!)

I'm sure there's more food under there..... nom nom nom

maybe I'll have a drink instead...

Could you resist? I couldn't!

AWWWW - with that eye patch you were bound to fall for him; he's so gorgeous! x)x)x)

Good, what were his old family thinking!

I can't see pics at work 8...8...
Glad you've taken him in (I must have missed the other thread about a piggy train because I could have helped ) xx

Aww he is gorgeous, see why you couldn't resist. He has a loving home now, well done, don't think it will take him long to get settled in.:)

he's had a bit of a run in the hallway, munched a few green beans and is now zonked in his box flat out and happy looking.

Frank isn't too keen but Finlay, surprisingly, was very gentle when we put him in the run.... Maybe we shouldn't have had, but we wanted to show him he had company.

For a pig who's supposedly not been handled much, well, he lets you pet him in the run, he even crawled all over Maxy and went to hide by his leg... rolleyes He was happily exploring the hallway and even tried to get into the little under-the-stairs cupboard where we used to keep our hay, and was munching on spare bits he'd found. :))

Jane will be here in about 20 mins... Sad....:(

Steven knows a good home if sees one! Trust a guinea pig - they'll react to how they are handled and welcomed!

Steven LIFT YOUR HEAD.............please drool
he's adorable already, but i just now need to see them ;)
Oh he sounds just delightful, so glad he got to say hi to little Finlay x)x)

like leaving half his fur on my white t-shirt! must love me already!:)):)):))

Glynis, I just haven't had time to dowload/upload the second batch of piccies... Hold your horses!

Steven has just left for his new forever home with Jane where he'll hopefully be paired up with baby boy.
He is such a sweet boy with a huge apetite! It was a pleasure for me to have him here for a few hours. Wish he could have stayed longer - and in a real cage. No doubt he'll be happy in a Nero4 or hutch...

Good luck big man and send me some news soon!:0

I wish him the best and lots of happiness in his new life!

I know he will be. He really looked like he was up for some company this morning so he should be well happy at Jane's.
Frank has now calmed down, what a hysteric pig he is!

He had a hard time getting accepted as #2 piggy; so any boy more is a threat to his standing!

I suppose... it makes sense.. Plus, he was getting all the food and all the attention. Can't have that!rolleyes

Awww what a little cutie :)) Similar colourings to Rufus!
I'm glad he has found a happy home, and also had what sounds like a lovely holiday at your house too!
Lucky piggie :)

AWWWW

I bet it was a major struggle with your conscience to let Jane take him away! He looks so happy and at home! What a delightful boy!

I think if we'd had the spare cage, i may have managed to convince Maxy! who will disagree when he reads this, of course!
