Oh he is sooooo gorgeous! It's a good job that I never saw the thread for the piggy train because I would definitely have pignapped {:|
 
Well Steven is happily settling into his new hutch. He is just outside my kitchen door, and been watching me wash up. He is eating still, and was no problem on the journey home. Even through the Mersey Tunnel he never wheeked once. Will keep everyone updated on the little chap. x

yep, he's definitely a little chap you want to cuddle, despite him losing his fur, needing a serious manicure and being a bit bony... but he's got such a sweet little face and i'm sure he'll develop into a real fun piggy with a personality to match.

Well done both MrsM and Jane, for both taking him on, helping to get him somewhere happy and safe.

He is a great little chappie. O/H loves him already. Steven does seem to have some mega grease gland issues though, so will deal with that tomorrow. xx
 
...and by the way, let's hope that this gorgeous guy continues in good health, as I am going to feel a complete nurd when the vet shouts Steven Stevenson into the waiting room. It was bad enough when he shouted for Nutty, when he had his nuts chopped! xx

Bonnie, we really wish we could have kept him, but a long list of factors meant that he had to go to Jane's where he'll be paired up with a little pal. That's just great. In honesty, it just wasn't wise for me to double up on piggy-slavery work as I'm about to start the great experience of motherhood.

Hopefully we can go and visit Steven and his friends soon...

You're right tho, what a poser. It took me 2 sessions to get such great pics (used most of them) whereas with my own boys, it can take a gazillion takes for 2 decent pictures...

Yeap, found the original thread now. It was a sad, sad, sad story but with a happy ending for this little chap!

I can imagine how hard it was letting him go as i know how much you did want him although like you said you have so much on your plate right now and its probably a good thing that he will now have a little buddy too,its fantastic the outcome of this if only all piggies were as lucky as steven xxxxxxxxxx
 
I am working a split shift today. Damn work! So Steven has had a swarfega'd bum and a lice and easy bath to wash it all off. His bum is still very greasy, will just have to work on it slowly. Steven was great though, he loved the bath. It's not bothering him at all. Nipper left his mum and sisters this morning, so now he and Steven are in a nice Nero 4 together. Lots of chasing and bum sniffing, but so far so good. xx
 
I'm glad that it is working out! Looks like Steven is a gem (apart from his long time unserviced grease gland!)
 
I can't wait for more pics, especially with the little bubbah....
