Adult Guinea Pig
I love my 4 but I still want a second abby pig, a young female would be great but I am not sure if I would be allowed a rescue again, my landlord is absolutely fine with me having the pigs (and the dog) and there are not many in rescue at the moment anyway (thankfully) I am not sure the rescues would let me and I gave my written permission letter to the rspca where flash came from :red forgot to take a copy
But then I feel guilty for wanting females when there are boys looking for homes and I keep thinking that maybe I could get a well recommended http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/small_pets/hutches_cages/rabbit_cage/140_cm_cages/95921 and place it on the stand above the pen the 4 are in so they are all in the same room but above the gang. Then I wonder if this will be the wrong solution for a pair of boars and they would fight having the girls below. I would want a well established pair or any age, the older ones tend to be overlooked and this wouldnt bother me. Although I could build a top level on the run as I have spare panels.
Sorry waffling :red I know I am selfish for wanting more piggies, I really do love the abbys and keep seeing them up for homing which makes me want them more - however I am sensible enough to not go and buy one from a pet shop no matter how much I want them as I have 4 healthy loved piggies here, one I know now has sensitive skin so I wouldnt get any that are unknown health wise.
