Has anyone's pig had a bad reaction to Science Selective?
Jon Snow is a pig with piggy IBS (as diagnosed by his vet). His poops are never normal (funny shaped, smaller and sometimes with tails) and his tum rumbles quite a lot.
Over the past few days I've heard it rumble alot more and can feel it. His poops are also less firm.
So, he's not having veg for now but I have no idea what has set him off. He hasn't had any different veg and I've made sure not to feed him veg that does aggravate him.
However, as I can no longer find Harringtons in the shop I swapped them onto Science Selective about a week ago, gradually. They still only get about 15 pellets of it a day. They used to eat it years ago but I stopped as I couldn't be bothered with snapping them in half (as they get stuck on Jon's teeth).
Could it be that?
Does anyone have any recommendations for other pellets?
They currently have a mixture of Oxbow, Rosewood (they don't like this) and S. Selective.
