Strange noise from guinea pig?

My guinea pig keeps making this low groan or kinda owl like sound during the night. I don’t know the cause of this or if it’s a health issue or not. I’m not really sure how to explain the sound.

When I mean owl sound it’s like a short and low tone ‘who’

It sounds the like the noise they make when they are worried about something. It’s like lots of ‘hoo hoo hoo’s’ in short bursts? Mine do that as a warning if they are concerned. If I sniff or I whistle mine do it! Video would be useful though to be sure.

My husband calls it the ‘who who who are you you you sound’ lol

is it a sort of brrrrr brrrr sound? If you jungle some keys do they make the exact noise?

I’m not sure if you are describing a hooting sound. It’s impossible from the written word to tell. If it is hooting then it’s breathing related and you need to see a vet as soon as possible.

If its hooting it could be dusty hay stuck up the nistrils, try getting your pigs excited with a rustling bag, alot of the time this makes them sneeze it out. If its been a long time see a vet

If you are unable to get a video clip of your piggy making this noise are you able to find similar on youtube so we understand what noise your piggy is making. Some common sounds you might want to try on there include:
wheeking
rumblestrutting
purring
chirping
hooting

I agree with @VickiA , if it turns out to be hooting please get your piggy seen to as soon as possible. It might be nothing, but my Comet hooted a fair bit when he had lung trouble.
