Teenage Guinea Pig
Hi all,
My piggy Jem (about 8 months) makes this odd squealing, chirping, cooing noise all mixed together. It sounds like hes whinging and at first i would look to see what was wrong, but he would appear to be fine. I am started to wonder if he is just 'talking' He does it if i am paying attention to the other pigs, or if he is sitting on top of his house he just sits there chuntering away at me. Often its like we are having a conversation
I reply, then he does his chuntering back. I dont recognise the sound at all, but its LOUD! Sometimes he is just walking around doing it. I really cant fathom it. Does anyone else's pigs make a lot of noise like this? My other boys chut, chut when they are exploring, and wheek and purr but this is new to me! Any ideas? He drowns out the telly :{
