Strange Patch On Hair

Hi,
Can anyone help please?
Ive just noticed my guinea pig has a small clump of something on its hair near its bum. Please see attached. Has anyone got any suggestions? Apologies if the picture isnt that great?

If you have boars, then it looks suspiciously like "boar glue", i.e. dried semen. If you can, try to gently cut it off with scissors unless it is too close to the skin. Boar glue has got its name for a very good reason!

Thanks reading up on it that adds up. I thought the bigger one was just showing dominance in cage and read it was normal. The ginger one seems a bigger frame than the other and never seems to leave the other alone. He keeps making a purring noise at the ginger one.20170205_155857.webp
