Straw has no nutritional value to pigs, but is ok to use as a bedding. Medibed is similar to Russell bedding but it is chopped very finely so its not straw as we would normally envisage it. As long as hay is always present Its ok O0 personally I dont' have the extra space to store medibed or hay so I have never used it for the pigs so am not talking from experience.kat said:I am sure that straw is one thing that isnt good for guinea pigs.
