Good Evening
My poor little Piggie has finally been diagnosed (by nasal swab) with Streptococcus Equi Zooepidemicus. We are onto second antibiotic but I am told it is notoriously hard to cure, latent disease can prevail and it is a zoonosis with the potential to cause severe disease in susceptible / immune compromised humans.

Has anybody else had experience with this rotten infection in their Piggies, that they would be prepared to share.

Best wishes All.

I’m afraid the OP to this thread has not logged back onto the forum in two and a half years so there is no update to this.

We do ask that members start their own new thread rather than revive old threads.
I hope your piggy will be ok
