So...in no particular order.
I was giving Dansak a once over after he'd been in the run, and he had all manner of creamy sticky stuff round his bum - i figure its his natural secretions. One pereneal pouch clean later (oh my goodness the smell but no sign of impaction) and he is much better. He was not impressed i can tell you, but pooing well, and looking much better. He was cross with me and in a sulk for an hour or so, but is eating, drinking and totally normal now. I've had boars for almost 5 years and that's the first time I've had to do that. Yuck. It looked healthy, just like he needed a clean! Is this normal?
Dansak and Potter (who live outside) are now on fleece after it was such a success with max (inside)- after an inital look of comptele confusion they seem to be appreciating the benefits.
We went to vist Dobby (max's son). He is 2 weeks old now. From 39g at birth and 56ish last week he is now 91g and doing great. He is clearly enjoying a cuddle - sits still and snuggles right in. Fingers crossed Max will accept him when he is ready to leave mum
So, that's the guinea gossip from our house
