is the pelvic bone on the guinea the bones right at the back stickin out that looks like a bum??:^-

please help

*** wanna no so i can tell when my guineas gonna have babies

sorry can't be certain but imagine you were on all fours and picture where your hips would be at the bottom of your back that should be where the pelvis is (hips are part of the same bones that make up the pelvis) hope this makes sense! mallethead

so would you say it was the bones that join together at her rear x

I'm assuming that you would like to know what the pelvic bones feel like when they are separating prior to the birth?

If you feel just in front of her bottom (tummy side) you should be able to feel a slight gap between two small lumps - maybe 1 - 1.5 cm. If they are separated then she could give birth very soon. If you have females that are not pregnant you can compare how the pelvic bones feel.

If you need more info it would be best to use the pregnancy and labour section.
