Stye or Cyst on Brushy's Eyelid

Poor Brushy - discovered him yesterday evening with a small red lump sticking out of his eyelid. Eye looks fine and clear and doesn't seem to be bothering him. Watched him today and doesn't seem to have changed.

Am off work on Thursday - assume this merits a visit to the vet.

Any ideas what the vets bill might cost me as I haven't taken out insurance on the pigs. Should I?

Have 2 piggies - they are my first pair. Only had them a couple of months so still learning

Hi, sorry i can't offer any advice about the eye or about insurance ~ i haven't any pet insurance myself and have never looked into it.

Vets prices vary greatly ie ringing around the vets in my area for a quote on neutering i was quoted: £50.10, £47.50, £50 and £31.60, Strangely the much cheaper price was quoted by the vets that i thought would be the most expensive [ large, longest established, town centre practice ]

If cost is a big issue then you could ring around for quotes?
