Sudden injury or possible stone

Monday night and back to finding blood in the cage, he is still on his antibiotics too. He looks clean otherwise but obviously something is going on plus there was a slight weight loss again this week. Exhausted from this now and the vet is calling me back today to discuss the next steps and whether they do scans or if they refer on to the specialists at Hinckley

Poor Donald and poor you I hope you soon find some answers.

I’m battling a hidden problem with one of mine, too. it’s exhausting trying to get to the bottom of what’s going on. Hugs x

It is isn't it. I'm finding Donald's harder as it disappears, he cleans up and gains and bit of weight and then randomly it's back to square one with blood, dirty back end and weight loss. It might be easier had lily not been ill at the same time

So despite 3 occasions of blood all 2-3 weeks apart they vet thinks there's nothing wrong with him. I should stop antibiotics and continue keeping him clean and then contact my usual vet if it happens again.

Well pfft to that! to put it very politely. What I really would like to say is :cen:! Nothing wrong?? who are they trying to kid!
