To every one! And thing! I got these two new pigs, yesterday I introduced them
At first it went great! Then Sunday turned against the other two and her friend that she has been with for a year! I separated them into the pairs last night but Sunday still picks on her friend.

She is also starting to chutter at me! And attacked my hand. :( I got her from a eleven year old, they seemed to take excellent care of them! And she was fine befor I introduced them

What should I do with her? I was building a larger c&c cage some time this week so should I put a divider in it? And separate her off but so she can still see the others?

Also right now should I keep the three in the large cage and then her in the smaller "quentine" cage?

Or should I do somthing else?

Thanks!!

OK did you introduce on neutral territory ? with noooooooooooo previous smells ?
I've personally not done this.....i'm only saying this from reading many threads........

have you read the bonding thread? it's got some great tips ....

http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=38562

and i'm sure you'll also get some first hand help too.... GOOD LUCK xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Yep it was a neutral area.... Iv read that thread and it was good for berry.

I moved berry in with the other girls and there all fine together like they are long lost friends :)

then I did what mom suggested and put Sunday in the cage with the girls and it was scarry! Se ran up to the one and starte chattering, then flinched and all the others ran to the corner and froze, she went up to them,
And they didn't move at all! Then she started shuttering again then started attacking them :(

Maby I'll just keep her separate for a week or two then try again

Was blood drawn? Was it full on fighting, fur flying and teeth showing or was it more chasing and nipping?
Charlotte and Kizzy had a full on fight when I first introduced them. We cuddled them to calm them down and tried again and they have lived together happily ever since. Poppy got very stroppy with Daisy and Annabelle when I introduced Annabelle. She chased them round and nipped them but it was just her way of putting Daisy back in place and telling Annabelle who was boss. I swapped the hutches round so they went into a hutch that didn't smell like Poppys territory which their hutch did even though I had scrubbed and sprayed it.

I have found this page is very useful.

Please introduce piggies always only on neutral ground. If you put the head sow of one group in another head sow's territory without warning, you are in for trouble! It's like plonking the US White House onto the Russian president's backyard!

Here are tips about how to stage introductions, so that you have the best chance of success: http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=38562

Sow behaviour and dominance: http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=38561

Here is more about signs of aggression: http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=28949

Please take it very slowly and gently from hereon in and only let them meet when there is no teeth chattering through the bars. Let Sunday be next to the others - it is not HER fault and she needs to get comfy with the other girls. Perhaps you may ask people on the forum first when you try something as tricky as an introduction next time.

Thanks, her cage is beside the other cage and they get along throughthe bars... Also I have introduced pigs in the past Many times, I seen them be bully's at first but never like this. Noblood was drawn but bubblez did limp for a bit... And there was some hair pulled out. YES it was on a neutral area! It was on the living room floor! And YES I did ask other people first befor these guys sence it was two pairs and not individuals!

I bought some baby shampoo so when I get to building there new bigger cage I'm goig to bath them all befor I put them in it.

Even tohugh no blood was drawn I would keep them seperated when you sort out the cage. And keep an eye on them:)

I don't really have anything to add that hasn't been said... just wanted to chime in that I have a pig named Sundae- same name, different spelling!

Haha that's how her name is subposto be spelt! Lol! But my iPhone changes it :p

And thanks for all te help :)

LOL! That's funny! How did you pick it? My daughter named her because she said she looked like an ice cream cone- she has a lilac pointy nose, which is the 'cone' part, and then her body is white with buff patches, which my daughter said looked like butterscotch ripple ice cream, and her little red eyes are the cherries. Plus the pet store rubbed her with vanilla for some reason before we brought her home, so she did smell like vanilla for the first little while.
