Sweep has a girlfriend :)

We picked up a rescue girl to go with our neutered boar Sweep tonight from Donna (Petcrazy). Her names Lulu as she's ginger and white (bit like we think the real Lulu is ) So far they seem to be getting along even if Lulu is refusing to let Sweep have his wicked way with her. She's eaten some of his dry food, his hay, his readigrass and most of his veg and then she's had a roll round in his snuggle sac and he's let her! There's alot of chat going backwards and forwards between them and I'm hoping they like each other after Daisy rejected him. Once she's settled I'll post some photos of them together

Lulu is obviously not in season, but she is not attacking Sweep or aggressively driving him away like in a failed bonding, so you can be happy - letting him "read the newspaper" so thoroughly is a very good sign and I am sure that after the first (usually rather intensive) season they will be well bonded! Sweep must be a very happy boy!
