Harry fell asleep in my arms a little while ago, finally giving in after fighting all week. It was so peaceful that I didn't notice straight away - was just cuddling him all morning.

His harem will miss him - Beatrice, Trudy and Drusilla. When I got him from Wood Green he was the first neutered boar I'd ever had and he was such a gentleman - he sorted the group out without a cross word and was such a sweetie. I'll miss him.

Sorry for your loss.....may you run free at the Rainbow Bridge and popcorn all day long in the long lushes grass.
 
I am so so so sorry for your loss but it is nice that he went peacefullyat home in your arms.

He knew he was very loved and I bet that was a huge comfort to him.

Thank you everyone for your kind words. Harry is now buried in the garden with Mr Pig, Dweeb, Willow, Snowy, Buffy and Hermione - let's hope they're all pop-corning together!

Aww Sophie I'm so sorry he was lovely. You didn't have him too long did you? I'm sure I remember you getting him from the rescue.

No only about 6 months, he came from Wood Green. They said he was 18 mths old but I'm sure he was older...

Such a sweet boy too, I'll miss him! Neutered boars are just brilliant with a group of girls, it was lovely to see them together

Sophie, I am so sorry to hear about Harry ... he looked such a sweetheart and he obviously gave you lots of pleasure while you owned him.

Just think of the happy times that you shared and the wonderful life that you gave him when you rescued him and let him live happily with his girlies.

I'm so sorry to hear you lost Harry but you can take comfort in the fact he passed peaceully in your arms, he was such a handsome lad...
