sweet potato and papaya

I was just wondering if anyone gives these to their guines pigs and how as i have just brought some for Herbie but don't want to give them to him just yet as I am not sure how they eat them.

I've given my pigs sweet potato before and they enjoyed it

I don't feed them to mine. Only feed them sparingly.
