Hubbyes been hard at work yet again. Building my pigglies a new hutch. Its two seperate hutches. One because Bumble is a Boar, and two because Tam isnt a sociable piggy. She is with me mind, but just not the other girlies.
My three girls will be moved to the 2 tier hutch tomorrow when I have cleaned it out and got some more hay.

Absolute HEAPS of room. Its 2 ft 4 wide and 4ft 4 long. Big enough for one piggy in each hutch me thinks

As far as I know Bumblyboo is the only one of the 2 thats explored. Tams got the hump.lol Which isnt unusual. Miserable madam that one

Thanks for the pics, especially re: "Bumblyboo trying to hide from me". The shots of the hutch homes give me more ideas what to do here. WHen I went out to buy the food yesterday I also looked around for suitable enclosures, and I didn't like anything I saw as they were not sturdy enough that a cat could not break in. If that chicken wire fencing is enough to keep the g.p.s in, I have a staple gun and can fasten the wire to wood and make a better cage than what I have seen in the stores.
 
Yeah. Hubbies stapled it to the inside of the doors and then hes got some ply and cut it to go around the inside of the door so that the pigglies dont get caught on the sharpe ends. Ive got to buy some small padlocks for the locks so that noone can take them.
