Taste Testing

Do you taste test your piggies food?
I have to make sure the canteloupe, apple and grapes are not bitter or sour..... and i sort of smell everything else to make sure it smells 'ok'
Does anyone else do this, or is it just me

I munch on bits of fruit and veggies the whole time i am chopping them for the piggies but its just because i like raw veggies :

I dont do it Glynis ;D for a minute there i thought you meant the museli and hay ;D not a bad idea though i never thought of it being sour etc! x

I do that too...I cut twice as much carrot because I eat half of it ;D ;D

yup iv tried wagg, p@h, gerty and raw corn on cob. i like to know what all the fuss is about. my dog also likes to eat the p@h! i dont recommend raw corn on cob : ive never tried grass or hay though

Only cause i've served up the platter and had the food rejected :o :o then smelt it and tasted it and gone > so now i taste test some of the fruits etc......
have i clarified better now

mmmmmmm i do like to buy food for Duke and say 'this is for Duke........ then i sneak some > but he doesn't mind cause it's me : :

I do sniff the veggies, and very often pinch carrot as I'm chopping it for them. ;D ;D

Not tried the dried stuff or hay though.

Tried a dog biscuit when I was younger, tasteless, oh and dog chocolate and those yoghurt drops for hammies, don't bother they taste really yucky. ;D ;D

i need to sort out a roof for my c&c my dog keeps sticking his head in and eating the orange and green bits from the p@h. their the bits the guinea pigs dont like. so i tried them and made my OH try them to and they taste the same :o when i feed the piggies i have to give hector a biscuit and grape/apple. he likes the food my piggies dont ;D
