Hello!

I’ve read that tea tree oil is toxic to animals. I was wondering if the scent of tea tree oil is also toxic to guinea pigs.

I'm not sure but we recommend not using essential oils around guinea pigs due to their sensitive airways

I’ve read that tea tree oil is toxic to animals. I was wondering if the scent of tea tree oil is also toxic to guinea pigs.

Guinea pigs have a very small and sensitive respiratory tract; they also react differently to substances than humans.

We strongly recommend not to use any cented oils, candles and strongly perfumed products (including scented air fresheners or skin products) around them and move them out of any room whenever you do this. Bring them back only after you have thoroughly aired the room.
