teardrop droppings

Last night I gave the Piggies the fresh veggies and after it was gone I noticed that in the girls cage there was teardrop droppings. After taking a good look I found that Clover was a little wet on her bottom. She doesn't have diarrhea but soft teardrop droppings. They have 4 water bottles that are full abd a big plastic dog bowel of pellets and lots of hay. I'm not going to give them veggies today to see if that doesn't help. Shes acting fine and everything else is normal. Do you think its just too much veggies or something else?
 
Could well be! Softer droppings happen from time to time, but it's usually not too much to worry about. Proper diarrhea is.
 
I've heard that teardrop droppings indicate dehydration, but it is reasonable to consider that too many veggies are the cause - softer poops won't be the normal shape!

Thanks, I'm getting calls from the piggies for their veggies but one day will just have to be with out even if they get mad at me. lol silly things I swear their too spoiled!
 
Teardrop shaped poos indicate too little food intake only when they are unusually small, about half or less of the normal piggy's poo.

Make sure they drink, though!
