We just lost my sister's precious baby pig Apricot to a severe case of vestibular disease and mallocalusion. She was only almost 6 months old, had put up a great fight and was so strong for as long as her little piggy heart could be. She was the cutest little pig and made and anyone who saw her smile and fall in love with her. Now that she has crossed the rainbow bridge where we will all meet up with her again one day, I hope her that her courage and strength will live on her fluffy big brother Rocky who makes me smile everyday.
And here below, is a picture of the precious girl the day we got her! <3 RIP Appy <3

Also, if anyone has had any experience with pigs who have or have had vestibular disease, I would love to hear from you. I would like to learn more about it.

Thank you all so much for your kind words! It's nice to know there are others out there who know how it is to lose a furry friend, and to see others care. She put up a tough fight for such a young small baby. She went under anethesia twice, and was scheduled to go under for more dental work on wednesday... not to mention her many vet visits.. and she wasn't even 6 months old yet! ;'(

So sorry for the loss of your gorgeous little girl.

RIP Apricot
