Teeth Grinding... weird

Hi,

posted this on Behavior thread but no responses....

Cant figure it out as to why he would do it, Its random sometimes. He lets me feed and pick him up all the time.. But sometimes he just starts that.. Like today I put him back in his cage after having him out and he started grinding his teeth..

What other reason would he do that for?
 
A few reasons Gilbert does this are:

1) He wants you to go away.

2) He's expecting food. (mainly this one)

3) He's just wearing down his teeth.

he seems to only be doing it now after I put him back in his cage, LIke he was out for a while and i put him back and he starts...
 
ok so now its weird.. He does it ebery time i go in his cage now.. I clean his poop up and he starts in, But I can pet him and touch him and pick him up with no problems.. So it must be that he wants food right and not being mad at me? or telling me to go away,
