ive just been to my local p@h and they have lots of female guineas that dont look any older than 6 weeks, they are tiny, and i am really tempted by one that looks a mixed long haired

i dont know weather to get it or not


what do you think?
 
She sounds adorable. It's up to you, however, the guineas I have had from p@h have ended in heartbreak due to health issues, normally resulting in early passings. If you want another guinea adopt one. However, it's up to you, if you do get her, I would like to hear all about her and pictures. O0
 
I dont know...if you really want he rthen no-one can tell you what to do...but by the sounds of it she wont have a problem finding a new home...whereas some rescue piggies may never find homes, and a lot of them are GORGEOUS! You know more than most about the way they are treated, mis sexed and about rescues...so you can make an informed decision.

If you do get her id llove to see pics too, she sounds adorable! :smitten:
 
I thought you were moving out soon which was why you couldn't have the vet piggies Alison and me were arranging?

Maybe wait until after the move until you take on any more - moving house with lots of pigs is a pain believe me! I am quite possibly never moving again simply because I don't know if I can cope with the stress!
 
i am moving and know i shouldnt but i really wanted her, anyway it doesnt matter now as when i went down today she had gone :(
 
I am sure you will find another guinea you really want once you have moved. O0
 
I have had to walk away from more than one piggie and my gosh it is hard. The most recent one was the female double of my first ever guinea pig a white abby with a brown agouti face she was adorable, still thinking of her and another cutie that was in the cage with her now a month later. I do regret not getting them but I stood looking at them my friend said its up to you she did like one too ;D and we talked each other out of it and ran to the car quick minus the cute piggies.
 
Lol - I've been in VERY similar situations myself on many occasions. Its sooooo hard to walk away. You do get this sense of 'check out my sense of self-control'! still thinking about lots & lots of pet shop pigs. Theres only one pig I have ever said that I would buy if it were in a shop anywhere & thats Beks Whisper :smitten:
