... for telling me about flaked peas

I'm so ridiculously excited. :(|):(|):(|) I bought flaked peas a while ago after seeing Joanne's pics and vids of Fred and the girlies nom, nom, nomming on flaked peas but my two weren't that fussed.
I persevered and put a few down whenever I gave one to the hamster (who loves them).

Well just now I gave one to the hamster and Flumpet came over to the side of the cage to have a look. I offered her one and she took it from of my hand. From my hand! She's never taken food from me when she's in the cage. Even Delilah came over to have a look but she couldn't quite bring herself to take one.

It's completely made my day. So happy, happy, happy. :laluot_26:

This post made me smile! I'm so glad I remember how wonderful it was when my pigs first took from my hand it is quite an achievement! It's wonderful too see your time and love finally being received. There is nothing better than an animals trust x). It's lovely!

On another note. Pebbles says its about time the guinea pig slaves took note and got some flaked peas as her tummy knows what is best for all guinea pigs :))!

I've been giving a couple to Jimmy and George of an evening with their pellet and the little monkeys have been flippling the pellets out with their noses to get to the pea:))
