Hi Everyone

Some of you might have seen the thread ''My Daughters Guinea Pigs'' in the rehoming section. Well, thanks to tillythepig we dropped my five boars off there and they seem to be doing well.
I felt really bad about rehoming them as i've had them all since they were really young and didn't ever want to give them up, but with two jobs, a young horse, a dog (very hyper collie) and all my coursework I was just finding it too much to handle.
I still have my three sows and am finding it much much easier to care for them now.

I had to rehome my 3 piggies last year, so I totally understand what a hard decision it was for you. But well done - you know they are somewhere safe, and you can enjoy your girls now without having to worry.

Hi! Sometimes, sadly, you have to make hard decisions. It is better that you give your girls a good home than just service eight pigs! You did the responsible thing and are giving your boys a chance at a happy future in another loving home. So many people just convienently "forget" about their piggies' existence in a situation like that!

What a hard decision this must have been, but the right one. It just shows how much you care for your animals to consider their welfare in this way. They will be very much loved in their new home but couldnt have had a better start to their life than with you and the care you gave them. Its sounds as though you are going to be very busy. Good luck with the exams..
