Our gorgeous, courageous little Ariel went over the rainbow bridge on Boxing night 😢. for someone so little she was such a big personality and there will never be another like her.

I haven’t been able to post until now as I came down with covid on Monday☹️ It was one of the worst things to go through, my daughter was inconsolable and was begging her not to go and to stay with her as she was her favourite and they had a special bond 😭

So sorry you had to deal with Covid on top of a bereavement.
In the Bereavement thread there are some resources especially aimed at helping children grieve.
Waterbugs & Dragonflies is a lovely book and may help your daughter.
Another thing to help her May be to make a special Ariel Memory Book.
Your daughter can add her memories and some favourite pictures to help her.
Learning to deal with bereavement is one of the hardest lessons any of us have to learn.
Just talk openly and honestly with her when she wants to talk.
Children grieve differently to adults but no less deeply and they respond well to honest answers if they ask questions.

I am so sorry to hear your very sad news.
Sending you and your family my very best wishes.
I hope you have a very speedy recovery from COVID. It must have been awful to see your daughter's grief while you felt ill.
