At 9 month old they are old enough to eat normal dried Guinea Pig food
They can eat all veggies and fruit and dandellions/grass/herbs (I think, anyone knows better please say)

On the left hand side there is a fruit & veg chart and the amounts they can eat

This is also a brilliant site, browse through her other stuff on the site
Hope this helps!:):):):):):)

There's some more info on veggies here...

In terms of dry food - what are they eating at the moment? A plain pellet/nugget is ideal - the top ones are generally seen as Oxbow Cavy Cuisine, Science Selective Guinea Pig, Burgess Excel Guinea Pig.

My own pigs are on a combination of Wagg Optimum (which is very similar to Burgess) and Science Selective.

Here is a list of what veg they can eat.

I recommend that you read through Laura's diet link - she has worked it out from the recommendations on guinealynx and turned it into a easy to use diet.

My guinea pigs get lots and lots of hay - don't forget that, it should be the main part of their diet! - mixed veg and Burgess Excel pellets with the odd other bag of dry food occasionally mixed in to keep them from getting too particular or bored.

splodge and marmite get through (each day) a fist full of pets at home guinea pig nuggets and a fist full of wagg guinea pig food. Also accasional broccili and carrots
i herd that rabbit and guinea pig food isent good for them but i dont know why
ps sorry about the poor spelling. :) :)

It's advisable to give them more regular and more variety of fruit and vegetables. But you have a great pellet there.

How much hay do they eat?

My piggys are also on Wagg guinea crunch, I personally prefer it because it has added Vitamin C to keep them healthy and stops scurvy. I think every piggy loves hay and mine finish off a 3ft tall by 2ft deep and 2ft wide bale of hay in around 3-4 months, they love it, the greener the better!
I also feed them tonnes of veggies: carrots, celery, broccoli, small amount of cucumber, and other veggies in fridge:)):)):)):)):)):))
