:smitten: ive had this coronet boar since january and so far he s had about 50 different names non of which suited him so i would really appreciate any suggestions PLEASE the poor little thing cant go on being nameless, :'( he s a very shy little boy and came to me with a piece bitten out of his ear :'(
 
he is so gorgeous. I dont actuallly have any suggestions. what about bob, max, mocha, tigar, bradley, jim, oh i have no idea. xx
 
So, he needs a soft sounding name with perhaps natural connotations and reference to his colour, what about....

Hazel
Willow
Cinnamon
Maple
?
 
I'm kinda liking bradley as his crest has 2 identical ginger stripes that my mom says look like 2 big ginger eyebrows ;D ;D
 
I know how difficult it can be to name pigs, sometimes they need the right one and it doesn't come immediately
 
Something will come to you. One of my guineas (the one in my avatar) I couldn't name for ages and ages, she is quite a strong character and bossy, she needed a short, sharp name, and one day I just decided on Iris ;D
 
Buzby something unusual :)

Or Spencer, I love the name Spencer something cute because he is gorge! :smitten:

What about Rambo! A tough name..it might rub off n give him some confidence! lol :smitten: :D
 
this is very true !! but i like them all to be individuals so cant call him nelson :-\ i no someone that has 4 guineas and none of them have names because she thinks its to fussy :'(
 
'Nature' or geographic names:
Rowan, Chestnut, Oak, Ash
Africa, London, Berlin
Cocoa, Parsley, Coffee

Grander names:
Titan, Zeuss, Mozart, Berlioz, Shepherd

Real names:
Edward, Ricky, Jamie, Timmy

Cute names
I love Katie's Sprout!
Darth ;D, Indie, Mac
 
You need to name them all. My OH named our boys after simpsons characters and my girls are names after what i would have called girls if i had anymore children. x

How about Horatio then. That way you have the full name Horatio Nelson..

Wellington is another grand name, maybe a bit long though. Had a hammy called Wellington once.
 
Oh they have to have names! All mine suit theirs it has ti suit them!

What about Bramble or Lupin. Maybe something will come to you my names for my boars are Sunshine, Twinkle, Pudsey, Eccles, Radley, we have Ant and Dec who are fosters but we call them Henry and Pumpkin in the shed! :D Not my choice my daughter named them!

You could name him after food I had a Cuzzy (Custard) and Eccles (well thats my love for a certain actor but you could say Eccles cake) Chorley maybe? ROFL! Ok maybe not!

I like Sprout but he isn't green :-\ ;D

Ooo Chestnut is nice...Oh I dunno! I'm all named out! Put it to a vote! ;D

Paddington! Ooo I like that! ;)
