Dear fellow piggies in Forumland

It is with much regret I have to inform you all that I have handed in my resignation as your Shop Steward of the GPU. My recent illness has made me realise that I can no longer represent you as I should to the Guinea Pig Union. I have very much enjoyed being your Representative and bringing the injustices your Slaves have put upon you to the GPU.

You will still be represented by a member of my extended family. Since they arrived, 6 weeks ago, I have been subtlety interviewing new comers The Very Lovely Lexi and The One and Only Thea to see which one of them will best fill the role of your new Shop Steward. I have much pleasure in announcing that I have chosen The One and Only Thea. She is the more sensible of the two and I feel that I she will listen more to my advice should she need it. She will be introducing herself in a separate thread. Hello from your new Shop Steward of the GPU. The One and Only Thea

You have done such a wonderful job, and we think you should enjoy a very well deserved break. We fully trust your judgement and we are sure Thea will do a marvellous job with your guidance.

We are also sorry to hear that you’ve been a little under the weather. But hearing of your brilliant progress, makes us so very happy. Keep up the good work.

We are so very sorry to hear this news. But understand it’s better to step down now and enjoy your retirement. We hope the One and Only Thea is a suitable candidate. But we have confidence in your choice.
