I spent this afternoon cleaning and rearranging the girls hutch while my son watched Dr Who :(|) They are so nosey that kept trying to come up the ramp to see what I was up to and because the trap door was down I kept seeing Mrs Ginny Pig's white nose through the gap Little Miss Saffle Pig was just wheeking in their run. Once I'd finished cleaning the upstairs and making their bedroom cosy I let them back up and fiddled around their run getting it just so. Food bowls and water bottles filled up, cardboard tunnels cleared of droppings etc. I wanted to find a fun way of giving them their hay as I've lost my hay rack so I got an empty tissue box, one of the square cube ones and cut out holes in the other sides and stuffed it full of hay for them. Dinner was then served, apple on the bottom, cabbage over that and several slices of cucumber on top :)) Left them to munch on their dinner and enjoy their hay box while I sat in the sun and had a coffee. They enjoyed their dinner and love the hay box as they can eat from a hole each, no squabbling and they both get to eat it! I think all 3 of us enjoyed my afternoons work :)) Sleep tight Ginny and Saffy x>>

I use tissue boxes too. They are great. :)

I was just wasting so much hay as I kept changing it after they wee and poo over it. Spent ages looking for something I could use like a hay rack and the tissue box seemed the only thing! I had thought about getting one of those wire cubes from eBay but need fleece bedding and cosies first. Can't buy everything at once as hubby has been known to have a panic attack from opening his wallet :(|) Tissue box is working well though so no hurry for a hay cube, just yet. Maybe Santa will bring them one :))

I really do need to get more pics of them, have none of them together. Will get more pigtures, then post them on here for drooling over.
