The Hay Sweepers Lament

I'm moving my piggies from one bedroom to another - no doubt I shall be finding hay in the old room for ever more mallethead - it's up the stairs, in the bathroom, in my bed!, in my socks, in my shoes, clothes - bra is the worst you itch all day before you realise - you name it the hay is in it :(|)

It's only grass though - I don't mind, but when mother comes to visit I get some funny looks :red
 
We have a worse problem. As we allow our pigs to run free in the living room, before putting shoes on in the morning you have to check for poo.

I believe they find it funny when running round to ensure that they manage to drop one or two in a shoe or more.
 
A work colleague picked some out of my hair when I got in this morning! (Hay, not poo thankfully).
 
Nightmare isn't it! What about piggy poops too :)) I find them in the strangest of places!
 
ha ha. Just not long swept up and as you say its still everywhere!
 
I hate hay ! I have carpet in the sitting room where the piggies are and i end up sweeping it with a brush on my hands and knees :)) it seems to be everywhere in my house
 
I'm so glad i'm not alone....sweeping constantly with notmuch success! Thank goodness for wooden floors!:(|)
 
Complaining about poops in odd places - Cyclops the one eyed piggie shoves his out really quietly and without any noise at all. He also likes snuggling in the "v" of my top - guess where I find poops?

I think IHBS or Itchy Hay Bra Syndrome is quite a common forum ailment!

I second that! Although, I just hoovered and there's little strands everywhere!

(It doesn't help that the boys just rifle through the hayrack - "looking for the best bits" and the rest are pushed through the bars!)

All of my boys are short-haired but I also find their hairs EVERYWHERE! I had some toast for breakfast and found little blonde agouti piggy hairs on it!
