The joys of pig time:)

Hi there:) I just wanted to express myself about the joys of pig time:)

Today was the hottest day we have had in months. It was so beautiful and sunny with a cool breeze and the shade brought such relief from the sun! We (by we I mean the pigs and I) went outside, I popped the pigs in their run with toys and veggies and I worked next to it. Even after countless pig times I get this feeling of total contentment and joy whenever I see them running around, eating grass and veg and popcorningx) They are the sweetest little things. I barely even worked because I was so busy watching them being so sweet and bringing me so much joy:) bliss! And they're always happy for pig time because they get to go in their BIG run:))

awww i know how you feel, they bring me such joy. just a little cuddle with them cheers me right up! i had a friend come round with her little girl last night, and although she was holding her correctly and wasnt hurting her, norah didnt like it, it wasnt the sort of cuddle she had become accustomed to (i.e sitting on my pig shelf... boobs!) so i went over, and she got really excited and laid her head on my hands looking up at me like "ill put up with being cuddled by a 6 year old, but please just stay here and watch mum..." i wish she was the size of a dog! id actually love that!:<>
 
There is nothing as relaxing as watching piggies having the time of their lives in the garden!
 
We've had a nice day here too in Glasgow (well nicer than usual here) and the piggies have been out munching grass and popcorning - I love watching them too so know what you mean x)
 
aww you sound like you had a good day :) pig watching is one of my fave things to do. when their happy it cheers me up!
speaking of popcorning, i have just cleaned sexy out and hes popcorning round right now bless him!:))

Mine have been out too, I do love getting them out and giving them some freshair!

Such gorgeous little ones x).

I could watch my piggies for hours too, such sweeties! :))
 
My lot looking up to me at feeding time..now that's pricelessx) trying to stand up on their back legs when the veg arrives.. lovely:(|)
 
I agree. My lot have been out in the garden for most of the afternoon.

Always seems to take me twice as long to clean the hutch when they're in the garden, rather than in the living room though rolleyes :))
 
Oh its been cold, wet and miserable here all day, so mine have just had to cope with some picked from the garden which they are happily munching right now. Weather has taken a turn for the worse here :(
 
We have a big garden bench in the piggie run and we spend lots of time just watching them run around . It is handy for them to hide under as well and being next to the runner beans is great for when they come begging for leaves and beans. Does anyone else grow runner beans for piggies ? Mine love all parts or the plant (not Roots) and they are so easy to grow.
