The more I fall in love with them x)

from these very scared girls (the day I brought them home)

look how diddy they are - and how small baby fudge was (the brown and white, 4 weeks old in this photo)

They are photos I have posted before but the point is, the first two the girls were trying to hide from me, to be able to not only take photos of them up this close with them eating away of acting normally so I can get shots of them living their lives shows how much they have grown to trust me. They still run from me, minty and silver are the most skittish still, flash always was too, but tues for the first time ever minty took a blade of grass from my hands - ok I was outside the hutch but this is a major milestone for her, fudge and crystal reached this stage last year, but they are the most greedy. So it does happen, it does take time, sometimes a lot of time but they do get used to you and they might hide until they know its you.

So share with us all your love of pigs :(|)

the transforamtion in them is always dramatic, they take a while to gain your trust but when they do it's fantastic. the yare soooo addictive, I love spendign time with them, can't imagine life without piggies now.

Your photo's are great! Love that last photo drool x)

There is something special about crystal, she really is a poser, fudge looks surprised or moves too quickly all the time, minty is so dark its hard to get a good photo but she is also uber cute and beautiful and silver is also stunning but is still hiding - which he will eventually come round more, he has the bestest piggie lips like crystal too (just dont get the chance to capture them).

I love looking at other peoples pigs too, those really special snaps that show the pigs character are the really special ones.

Silver is very stunning drool x)

It can be hard to capture them on photo's, acutally it can be hard to capture them full stop lol! :))I am ofter left floundering grabbing at Cookie.

I agree with pigutres that show character, it's great when you manage to take a photo of a look or a stance, they are expressionate little creatures, I have one pigture of cherish of Putt who passed away last year of a sideways look she always used to give me when I kissed her. It's something I will always treasure.

I do love this part of the forum, I think it's great to see other peoples piggies.

I love the drool smiley :))

It is wonderful to see how they have grown in confidence through your love. They are beautiful.

I feel the same, had my boys for 6 months now and every day they make me smile so much. Timid Bubbles still hides from me but occassionally he will peep out and sniff my fingers, he has such gorgeous piggie lips! x)

And bossy Patches talks to me all the time and always wants to know what I'm up to, he's such delightful company when I'm home alone.

I rehomed these boys from someone I work with who no longer wanted them - how that could ever happen is beyond me!

Wish I could share some pics of my piggies but sadly can't seem to capture a good one of them, must keep trying!

One of the joys of having rescue piggies is to see how they come on and into their own.

Haha, yeah the change is very dramatic, my pigs were scared of everything when they first got home.
My house tends to get kind of noisy in the evenings, and now, they don't even flinch at anything, they just continue on with what they are doing like nothing is happening.
Unless, something falls and makes a loud noise, they will freeze up and always look where I sit, then I'll get up and comfort them by talking to them(always helps).
I like to think they are looking to me for safety lol.:<>
