A big thank you to all members who have not only donated and helped to keep a small rescue from closing but who have also given permission to have their forum posts used for the article. The ultimate decision has been the editor's since one can only fit so much into the allocated space, even with a magical editor's wand. I tried my best but could not condense the story any further.
I have also started a new article series of exploring the underpinnings of the complex guinea pig society as to what makes guinea pigs tick and how this comes out in the everyday behaviours we are all familiar with (or perhaps not quite?) - All I can say is wait and READ the coming issues! It's going to be a fascinating ride.
The article in this issue is about identity - both self-awareness and social identity.
