A little update on Oscar my house bun. He has been with me for a couple of months now and is settling in well. He is growing by the hour it seems and is massive compared to when I got him.
Having not had a house bunny it has been a learning curve for me. Thankfully for me the novice house bun slave he has turned out to be a natural house bun.
He has the run of a few rooms in the house and binkies almost everytime I come into the room hes in. His sprints round the room are so funny. I can't use the dustpan and brush around him though as he gets very excited. It makes sweeping up hay difficult as he pulls the brush away from me or just sits in the pan and eats the hay I am trying to sweep lol.
Here is the little boy himself

Its amazing how cute and friendly they are i always thought they were a bit grumpy but Damien licks my feet in the morning while I'm making a cup of tea :))

What a cutie! :) I have a bonded pair of rabbits who have an adapted shed and I have a housebunny too, he was found as a stray by my sister, he's sat with me now actually, follows me everywhere as he shares my room with me :)

Awww, Oscar is sooooo cute! I'm glad he's settling in well! xx>>> I love the idea of a house bunny, was it easy to litter train him?

Ah, he's gorgeous :)

My house bun has suddenly started peeing on the floor and so has had to spend more time in his cage lately :(

Have you had any trouble litter training?

x

I didn't have much trouble training Oscar. It was mostly a case of finding both a litter tray he liked and getting the position in the room right. He has two trays, one in his cage and another in the corner of the room. The first tray I got was a corner one designed for bunnies but he didn't use it that well so I got two basic cat litter trays and haven't had any probs since touch wood. Hopefully he will stay good as he gets older training-wise.

Awww, gorgeous bunnies!

I have two outdoor buns, they have a shed and free range in the garden all day. I would love a house bun but mine have chewed the walls in the kitchen (when they come in for treats) so would destroy the house if they were inside!

Awwwww cute face and those little ears! x)
I can't wait for my Rosie to become a house bun. She is litter trained in her hutch so I am hoping it will be just as easy out of her hutch :) Hopefully she wont chew everything too rolleyes plenty of chew toys for her I think
