The Adventures of Percy-Roo, Harvey and Artie too: The Tale of the Missing Veggitibbles and the Mysterious Box.​

This wheeks story is for the RSPCA Walsall for all their brilliant work and a huge thank you for the wonderful, lovely gift they sent after Harvey won the most dashing boar competition. Thank you so much! x


All is quite in the piggie shed, the boys are watching the ‘box’ whilst munching their hay( a favourite past time of many piggies) perhaps this week an adventure wont take place....



“Disaster has struck in Piggie HQ. It is a tragic tale that no piggie could of ever predicted. The rumours are true, we at the PBC (Piggie Broadcasting Corporation) are devastated to announce that yes, the fridge is empty. Sources have found that The Slave and her family did not go to the ‘veggitibble’ shop on Friday, nor on Saturday. Our deepest sympathies go out to those pigs affected. This is May reporting, thank you and good day.â€

“Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!â€
“Whats happened Artie?â€
“There is....there...is....no veggitibbles!â€

“That is not true, there must be veggitibbles around here somewhere, we’d better get a professional in finding veggitibbles me thinks Artie."

(sniff) “A professional veggitibble finder?â€

“Oh yes this calls for a very professional piggie indeed Artie we need a PVI, Piggie Vegitibble Investigator......ahem.... Percy-Roo we need you!â€

“Did somepig call my name? Is there a pig in distress? Missing vegitibbles? I shall find them with the help of my good friends...â€

“No veggies in my pantry Percy-Roo sorry, there was a pea in my pouch but it was a bit soggy...and then it got munched...mmmm peas."

“Please excuse me for asking Cat-Chick,the pigs are going barmy again, anywhoos have you spotted any veggies on your travels?"
"Nope sorry Casper!"

“Whats your report back Wazzle-Dog?â€
“....even the veggie forest is, well, veggieless Percy-Rooâ€

“No veggitibbles. Not a carrot in sight, not at all. This search is proving fruitless, whatever will i do Patch my good friend?â€

“Ooo...lets go and investigate!â€

“OoooO !â€
“Whats in the box Harvey?â€
"Is it veggitibbles?â€
“Nope its even better Artie, and its arrived in good time too.â€
“What could be better than veggitibbles?â€
“Well as you both know I am a little odd, but I’m also very, very dashing. And well mummy slave entered me into a RSPCA photo comp and I won how amazing is that? But I can’t eat and play with all the prizes, and so I’d like to share to share them with my two very best friends, and all of those who helped search for the missing veggitibbles."
“Oohh goodie! Thank you so much Harvey, you are the best adventure pig ever!Could i have the tube Harvey? I do like tubesâ€

So the mysterious box filled with surprises was shared between all of the critters, great and small, and the terrible thing that was the case of the missing veggitibbles was forgotten by all. The treats and toys brought a lot of joy to the piggie household but the biggest smile was seen on Artie’s face after all surprises are much more wonderful when you are feeling blue!

Oh I love reading your adventures. Me and my 11 year old son have just been rolling around laughing in the living room.
You should write these stories for children! They would love them.
