As we lost on of our lovely bunnies Marv earlier in the week, my mum took a trip to a little rescue to look for a husbun for Dorris who lived with Marv. There she found a little black bunny, now named Bertie. He only has one ear, poor guy and this has stopped him from being re-homed! He's stunning!...x)

Well she didn't just come home with a bunny which she went for!
She brought home 2 beautiful guinea pigs! 2 boars now named Drake&Coby.
No idea how old they are, no nothing about them what so ever, but they are stunning. Oh how I've missed having boars, since I lost Henry last year :( They are so lovely and chunky. Thought I'd share that little story hehe....

He's having time with his new wife at the mo hehe, I shall take a picture when it's light :) He's a cutie too! x)
 
Will post tomorrow :) How sad that nobody wanted him though :( Apparently he got attacked by a dog, could have been so much worse, poor fella
 
Oh blimey poor little thing. I know, I don't understand people, that type of thing would make me want him even more.
 
Exactly! Luckily I was at work, I would have wanted them all.
He was the first bunny my mum saw, how could you not want him, special little guy hehe

I think that's what happened. The lady said what she had and as soon as the poor little guy with one ear was mentioned, he was ours :) And fingers crossed but him and his lady friend are getting on just lovely! Off to bed now but will post a pic of little Bertie tomorrow :) And thankyou, they are rather lovely, drake, the top picture has patches of cream and grey all over his body x)x) It's nice to see piggies in rescue that have actually been looked after!

Hi, thanks they are lovely boys!
The rescue was Pets in need in Bury. Run by an older lady and some lovely volunteers. She barely makes anything from re-homing the animals :(
 
Finally got round to taking a picture of Mr Bertie-one ear, and wife Dorris :) I hope you like.... Exscuse the messy cage, it's clean but Dorris gets moody if things arn't the way she like them.. and has to re-arrange the house teheh.
