According to my Guinea Pigs!

I was wandering round my local independant pet store at the weekend at noticed they sold Vitakraft hay.. It comes in 500g bags and has additional stuff like dandelion, rose and camomile... I'd never noticed it before :red and thought I get some for my piggies to try...

My gawd.. You would honestly think I'd never given them hay before!!

Susan (the piggy piggy) has hardly stopped eating since the weekend.. One of the little ones Mayhem, (I did christen them Mischief and Mayhem!) climbs into the hay rack and munches round herself and then starts wheeking when the others try to eat the hay.. Judy goes bonkers as soon as the hay bag appears and Mischief starts running round like a mad thing but then settles into munch mode...

I can't believe the difference in them..
 
hehe! I only thought there we're two types of hay before I got piggles. Little did I know! :))

Willow is like that with Orchard Grass. I think it's her favourite thing in the whole world - even more than veggies! :(|)
 
Mine also like the Vitakraft hay you describe, and the Woodlands one too. They get it as a treat, they're usually on Oxbow.

You'd think it would be the other way around...cheaper hay daily, with the expensive gourmet hay as a special treat!
 
OOH I forgot I have 2 bags of Woodlands hay here, one hardly used and one unopened. I may have to give them some later on! Thanks for remining me :)
 
My 2 adore the Woodlands food and forage, I have just run out today so I need to get online, there is no way I can get to our P@H in this weather, it is miles away! :o
