They were popcorning at me opening the bag of baby leaves! Then the chopping of cucumber and baby corn cobs got them wheeking, sooooo cute!

Sorry to keep posting but I am so happy with the progress! drool
 
Sounds great!

Lucky used to wheek loads at the sound of veggies being chopped and prepared, and used to stick her nose in the corner of the cage to try and see what was going on.

She may have stopped due to old age but I'm hoping that now she has a new friend, it will start again soon!
 
my girlies wheek whenever i go in the kitchen sometimes it gets a bit annoying and god forbid i try and eat a packet of crisps in front of them
 
Actually they only know the procedure once they have had their cuddles after work, only then they know what is coming, I think they were even wheeking as I put them back in and took their dishes out, they are getting there! :<>

Aren't piggies so god damn cute?! :(|)

Hazard of life with guinea pigs - do NOT try and sneak to the kitchen in the middle of the night and mount a raid... :)):)):))

I am glad that your boys are coming along so well - it's a magic time!
 
Even though they are scared of cuddles, they know what comes after and they popcorn as soon as I put them down, it is sooooooooo cute! :(|)

BTW, go to Somerfield for discount bargains, I got 3 courgettes for 45p, 3 tubs of parsley at 29p each and coriander for 19p! @)

They still have another 2 days on them too! :(|)

That's so cool. I love the wheek wheek wheeks it's such a nice feeling that they know.

My girls have learnt every noise going,

As they are based in our lounge/kitchen all we have to do is open the fridge or make any sort of rustle and they go crazy, when I was putting new foridge in their cage earlier flick was going bananas runnin and jumpin around and in and out her tunnel, was soo funny to watch wish i had recorded it!
 
Mine Wheek whenever they hear bags rustle, its getting a lil annoying cause they wheek at EVERY bag sound not just hay or veg
 
Same here, I was opening a bag of peppers for me and my BF and they started popcorning! rolleyes:))

Mine know once they have had the misfortune of mummy hugging/torturing them, the rustle soon follows! :(|)
 
My guinea pigs love the sound of the Cos or Romaine lettuce leaves going ' snap' when you break some off for them.
