Junior Guinea Pig
Last night when i had my girl Bubsy out, she is about 1 year old i have had her 2 weeks now, she was sitting ok and had some apple off me. Think she peed once and i moved her over a bit, then after a while she stuck her bum up like she was going to pee but i saw a poop and thought that it was weird, it was kind of misshapen but wasn't particularly soft.
Once i picked her up to put her back i noticed a thick yellow pee where she was, it was not soaking into the fleece it was bubbly and gloopy. To explain it i would say (trying not to be too disgusting) it was like snot. When i got some tissue to remove it, it was gloopy and sticky like snot, it smelled like urine though (the things you do!). She didn't seem to be in pain, she is eating and drinking, and also at the moment this morning she has been out for fresh hay.
I don't think its calcium because i read that is normally crystally and this wasn't? And also it was not cloudy or white or any other colour, it was yellow with bubbles and clear. I did take a photo if you really think it might help but i didn't want to make this post too gross... i haven't seen any more spots of it around the cage, i did a spot clean before taking her out last night. Thanks for your help and reading this.
