Just wondered if anyone else has ever see some things that make you think, oh no! 🙄 Not now.... But then realise, thank god he or she is fine.

1. Looking fluffy after washing sometimes tricks me into thinking Dot is looking sick, looks like she is all bunched up and trying to keep warm.

2. The eyes going to the top of head when asleep out in the open and laying on the side, this is typical Bernie our boar. Used to scare me more with my 7 year old boar sky😱.

3. When you have had one sick pig that has recovered quite some time ago, it can make me paranoid, when Dot is just chilling in her carrot cottage and Bernie is out and about eating, I sometimes think, nooo, whats up, but if Bernie is chilling out and Dot is out eating, I don't worry.

4. Puffing up to look bigger when defending veg, looks like bloat sometimes.

Anymore would be interesting to read, anyone reading this. Don't pass anything off as a false alarm, just incase 👍

Just generally being quieter than normal.
When we'd only had Spike for a few weeks he was very quiet one day and didn't come out of his house much all day. We took him to the vet in the evening thinking there was something wrong. She said he was probably the fittest guinea pig she'd ever seen! I guess he was just maturing a bit and not getting so excited at every little sound.

Not getting up for morning veg! After we realised that Clover had come to us with a fairly recent badly healed broken leg injury, and we weren't sure how serious it was and if she's need life long pain relief... it took a while for us to not panic when she didnt rush out for breakfast! Turns out Clover just isnt a morning piggy unless there are carrots, when she'll grab the biggest piece and take it back to bed! Otherwise she sleeps late and makes up for it by stealing everypigs veg in the evening :)
