Thorn and Cheeky - Dating update NB Milhaven

A little while ago I posted some pics of Tea Cake and Sudoku so now it is the turn of Cheeky and Thorn!

Sudoku and Cheeky were my original pair of boars but they fell out at an early age so lived side-by-side for a while. When it was clear they were never going to be friends, I took the boys boar dating and it has been brilliant.

Here is Cheeky, a lovely boar who has quite a complex personality. His favourite place is to sit with this chin on my shoulder

Joanne at Milhaven knew all about Cheeky's story and fall out and she decided that little Thorn might be a good date for Cheeky to try. Here he isdrool

Joanne introduced the two boars with me at Keighley and really they were very calm together right from the start. They do not rumble and chase and all that boy stuff really, they are just calm and quiet - they even keep their hutch tidy We love having Thorn and are so pleased that Cheeky has a new friend.

Thanks for lovely comments! I know that things may be trickier when Thorn hits teenage stage but at the moment they are getting on v well.

I hope Joanne gets to see the photos - but she is probably busy with her 102 other piggies and admiring her new shed

Yey! I have a huge soft spot for little Thorn - I got to name him in a fundraiser and I think he is lovely x)
