I'm so proud of her I had to post yet another thread (sorry).

Over last couple of days she has been getting more and more relaxed around the place. She's been coming out with the TV on and me sitting on the couch. Today she's even let me walk around the room whilst she's been out of her house.

I've been getting her out each day to play in the playpen as she's been loving it. I let her have a nosey round before adding george to the mix. Well just now I put her in the pen and she wandered around talking all the time. She even let me approach the pen to add the water bottle and food bowls without running off. I decided to sit down next to it and talk to her and she just carried out wandering and eating.

After I added george she had great fun chasing him and she was popcorning all over the place, all whilst I was sat on the floor next to the pen.

I'm so proud of her! I had to let everyone know! She is my special brave girl x) . I feel like a mum who's baby has taken its first steps :))

She sounds lovely. Is Tia one of the piggies in your avatar?

She sounds like she is doing wonderfully! It's so rewarding when they first start to settle and make giant steps :)

I'm so glad to hear she is warming up a bit! Yes, it really is like a new baby taken first steps isnt it?!?!

It's such a great experience when a rescue piggy is starting to turn into a proper pet, isn't? It makes them so much more special to me!

Well done, Tia!

AWW well done Tia.

When did you get her and do you know much about her history? (Have I missed a post about her?). She sounds so sweet!

AWW well done Tia.

She came into rescue, absolutely terrified, and probably rarely been handled. She wasn't from the RSPCA haul, but from a lady who had piggies running loose and wanted to dump them, so Helen collected them (I think there were 12 in total), and Tia is one of them that was fostered out to me. Tia is responsible for Maria's name (another of my pregnant RSPCA sows) They lived side by side, so when Briony sent me the name Tia, the other little one just had to be Maria rolleyes x

Bless her heart.
Its amazing what a bit of love and TLC can do.
Well done xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

AWW I did miss that one. So pleased she's found you and someone who will help her come out of her shell a bit. Poor little girl is getting the love and attention she deserves now :)

I'm so excited this morning. Tia was out as I came from the kitchen and she shouted at me for veggies for the first time. I was so cute her ears waggled cos she shouted so loud x) I went and got her some lettuce and she ran into her house but had her head out so I decided to see if she would take it from my hand. Not only did she take it from me but she happily ate it whilst I was holding the other end! I'm so proud of her.

Amy took hers off me too so it's a well done all round this morning!

AWWW - what a great moment! Tia must be such a happy girl to come round so quickly. Your George must be a miracle boy... :)):)):))
