Tilly - as bad as it sounds, my first pet to reach its life expectancy

the most cuddly little piggle i've ever had the good fortune to meet. my beautiful little girl

you were so amazing, little Tilly. i love you so so much, sweetie

this piggle had a stroke around 9 months ago. she passed away sometime this afternoon. she was a very old little piggy. and all i'd change really, is the fact that my poor little girl wasn't with me when she passed.

thanks. i feel kinda heartbroken right now. i've not cried like this in a while. which is saying something, as i was in pieces when my baby piggle passed two months ago
 
Must be a very difficult time, these little creatures take up such a big piece of us. Take care of yourself. :rose

I'm so sorry for you tonight, you must be so sad. At least your darling piggy passed peacefully and at a grand old age.

I'm so sorry. Tilly was beautiful. I never imagined how strong the bond would be between piggie and human when I first ventured into the world of piggies. The sense of loss when a piggie passes to Rainbow Bridge is overwhelming. Anyone on the forum who has lost a piggie knows what you are going through and we are all here for you. Tilly will be safely at the bridge now and I'm sure will be popcorning away with the other piggies. Run free beautiful girl.
 
my poor little molly passed away 2 and a half months ago. she was only a baby. so i'm kind of forcing myself to imagine her and tilly being together again. tilly was a very motherly piggle

I'm sure they will be reunited together at Rainbow Bridge. Tilly will be fussing over Molly and they will take good care of each other.

I am glad that stunning Tilly has had such a long and loving time with you; however, that doesn't make her loss any easier on you and you won't miss her any less!

But I may make it a bit easier in letting her go eventually and cherish her time with you through all those many happy memories she has left behind.

RIP Tilly - much loved and very much missed!
 
thanks again everyone. i'm crying again at the minute but it's more happy tears. my laptop broke last week and i had to reinstall windows, losing all of my pictures that weren't on photobucket.

my boyfriend had backed it up on his computer and i didn't know. i didn't even realise at the time, but i seem to have paid special attention to Tilly in our last piggle photo shoot, and have a lot of photos of her, just a few weeks ago.

Aww, so sorry to hear of Tilly's passing. I, like yourself, never ever thought I'd have a bond with a piggie, but it is so true. I've been so distraught recently over little Daisy's post surgical recovery, that I fell quite poorly and run down. This was due to other factors, but when she became poorly, it just set everything off. I understand exactly what you mean and also, how you feel.

Sorry for your loss my lovely, thinking of you and try not to be too sad. XX
