Has anyone tried the Timothy hay from BnM? I got a bag today and have just given my piggies and bunnies a small handful each, OMG they love it, it's £1.99 for a 1kg bag, I'm going to buy more from the reaction of my lot but I wondered if anyone had any thoughts on it,

I haven't tried the timothy hay from there but have seen it, the last time i treated my piggies to an expensive bag of timothy hay they ignored it and just peed and pood allover it as if to say thats what we think to that! I did however buy their meadow hay a few weeks ago for 99p a bag and that got the same treatment, its very sharp and i was worried about hay pokes so i binned it. I will try this timothy hay, £1.99 isn't much to waste if they dont like it.

I get my meadow hay from Range, I've not had any problems with it, makes a change for my pets to enjoy anything from a "cheaper" range, spoilt little things the lot of them :lol!:

I always used to get the range hay then they stopped eating it, the only hay they will touch now is the extra select meadow hay which is in roys or QD for £2.69 for a big bag.

I was buying Timothy grown in Oregan and imported by www.dustfreehay.co.uk bought in 2 or more boxes it works out at a very good price but they stopped muching on it as much. Now I feed them INGS, Meadow and Timothy and since having 3 varieties they eat non stop ! My little Lords of Fonteroy!

I'm glad it's not just me that spoils my babies lol, the rabbits, pigs and dogs food bill each week is more than mine and the OH but we don't mind :nod::nod:

I'm gonna try it out x thx for letting me know as I'm going to one tomorrow night x

This month I spent a total of 120 ish on my boys, plus whatever else we spent on the dog and chins.... they are family and they get as good as we get!

i have tried a few more expensive hays with mine including timothy and they turn their noses up at them. they like hay i get for 90 pence a bag and the bags i get for 4 quid for two, decent sized bags lasts about 3 and a half days. Anything else gets ignored.

So true! I'm exactly the same. Any spare coins I have are spent on my dog and my pigs. I love them like my family so I think they deserve the best quality of life possible! We buy nice products for ourselves so why can't our pets have the best for themselves? Plus I love opening packages and buying new things hah x it's fair ha x
