Hi all - any tips for keeping the hay rack in place? My pesky piggies keep knocking it off! Often upside down so they can’t reach it.

I’m not just going to scatter the hay around... I can’t handle that level of mess! Pic of the setup is below.

Does this rack just hang onto the back of the cage? I had the same problem and now the one I use attaches with a knob to the back of the cage so it can’t be moved. I think I got it on amazon for maybe $13.

I'd just get a litter box in then place all there hay in there.

I use a magazine rack for my herd of 5

it is free standing and holds plenty of hay.

One of my boys does this too. I suspect that he gets under it length wise and pushes up with his back, unhooking the rack. It happens less often when I put the rack higher, though even when it's as high as it can go he still manages to unhook it. The little scamp. He wouldn't get away with it if he weren't so cute.

I also ended up using hay bags in the end.
Several of mine have loved knocking hay racks off the cage, and I always worried someone was going to get stuck!
